1st. Dierhagen relay marathon 2007

The first Fischland relay marathon took place in Dierhagen district Neuhaus 28th October. The course went over a meadow, along the beach and across a moor landscape.

As Dierhäger local matadors started a team of 6 runners. We, that are Andreas Richter, Ashish Kumar, Jens Schröder-Fürstenberg, Frank Niemeyer, Robert Bellack und Dirk Edlich (from left) were those matadors. Being only six who have to manage the distance designated for eight means that two of us have had to run the 5 km distance twice. But we all know, running keeps your body fit.

We managed the distance in 4:02:38. That was rank 58 of a total of 69 teams. We think, we were not so bad. One can say, the event was a big party for all, visitors and runners.
