ECDIS Ltd
ECDIS Ltd is based in Southampton, UK. In their e-Navigation Centre they host ECDIS terminals from a number of different manufacturers, which they use for training and consultancy. They also provide training worldwide using training partners or their own mobile facility.
The experiences I made so far with ECDIS Ltd as my associate are very positive.
Marstal Navigationsskole
Marstal Navigationsskole is providing ECDIS courses for a maximum of 12 participants. The courses are divided into
Generic Training according to IMO 1.27 STCW course and
Type Specific Training on MARIS and TRANSAS equipment.
The school is officially approved by both MARIS and TRANSAS to provide type specific courses on their equipment.
As an added value the school is doing the training on their own training vessel MV "Pia" during the last course day (weather permitted). -
Maritime Education and Training Centre (METC)
The MARITIME EDUCATION AND TRAINING CENTRE (METC) at the Department of Maritime Studies of the Wismar University offers further education courses for navigational and technical ships officers.
There are courses according to the STCW-Code and and IMO Model Course as well as tailored courses for shipping companies, pilots and other clients from the maritime business.
I teach the theory of ECDIS basics and ECDIS in operation at METC.

SAMTRA South African Maritime Training Academy
The South African Maritime Training Academy is the most professional Academy I know on the African continent. She was financed by donations and offers simulator based trainings for deck and engine.
